Deidra M. Casaus, O.D.

Dr. Deidra Casaus was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She attended the University of New Mexico and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 1987. She then continued her education at the University of Houston and received a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1991.

Dr. Casaus began her work with Kaiser Pemanente Medical Groups in Dallas, TX before venturing out on her own in small town, Mesquite, Texas. She then practiced Optometry in Roswell, New Mexico for eight years before finally returning back home to the Albuquerque area. In 2004, Dr. Casaus opened her current private practice in Bernalillo, New Mexico where she will remain until she retires.

Dr. Casaus enjoys helping people of all ages with their most precious sense. She is able to communicate with her patients in English and Spanish.

Dr. Casaus married Chris Daniel in 1993 and they have two children. Chris Daniel is a CPA/MBA and works for the City of Albuquerque.

Dr. Casaus is an active member of the American Optometric Association and New Mexico Optometric Assocation.

Jennifer Murray, O.D.

Dr. Jennifer Murray, a native New Mexican, is pleased to return to serve the people of Bernalillo, NM and the surrounding areas. She comes to us with a variety of experiences including work with an ocular surgeon at a Mayo Health System Clinic in Minnesota, work in an Indian Health Service Hospital in Wyoming, and work with a renowned refractive surgeon in Portland Oregon.

Her experience, pleasant chair side manner, energy with kids, and compassion for elderly, make her a valuable asset in our team’s service to the Bernalillo community.

Dr. Murray attended the University of New Mexico, where she earned a Bachelor Degree of Science in Biology and a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Psychology. She then went to Pacific University College of Optometry, where she completed her Doctorate of Optometry Degree.

She has published articles on complimentary and alternative therapies for common ocular disorders, vascular-related eye diseases, and tear duct disorders. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the New Mexico Optometric Association, and the BSK Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Murray looks forward to working with and helping Dr. Deidra Casaus meet the eye care needs of our community.
